Sacrificed To The Dragon Part 3 Tiffanys Review

Title: Sacrificed To The Dragon Part 3
Author: Jessie Donovan

Pages:53
Melanie's future hinges on her meeting with Tristan's sister, Arabella. The dragonwoman suffered at the hands of a group of dragon hunters a decade ago, and she hates humans even more than Tristan. Can Melanie find a way to break through the female dragon-shifter's barriers? And even if she does, will it be enough to convince Tristan to give her a chance?

Sacrificed to the Dragon: Part Three is 15,300 words of dragon-shifter/BBW romance. It is the third entry in the Sacrificed serial, chronicling Melanie Hall's efforts to fulfill her contract and conceive a dragon-shifter child. The story contains strong sexual themes and language, and is not intended for readers under the age of 18. These stories are meant to be read in order. Thank you.

Jessie Donovan wrote her first story at age five, and after discovering the Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey in junior high, realized that people actually wanted to read stories like those floating around inside her head. From there on out, she was determined to tap into her over-active imagination and write a book someday.

After living abroad for five years and earning degrees in Japanese, Anthropology, and Secondary Education, she buckled down and finally wrote her first full-length book. While that story will never see the light of day, it laid the world-building groundwork of what would become her debut paranormal romance, Blaze of Secrets.

Jessie loves to interact with readers. When not reading or traipsing around some foreign country on a shoestring, can often be found on Facebook and Twitter.

The one thing you'll find in all of Jessie's stories are strong, capable women and the people who love them.

Tristan and Melanies story unfolds even more as she continues to proceed getting to know the young dragon children and his people. His human half starts to see beyond his prejudices of the human race and see her for the woman she is.

When she continues to help those in need he starts to fall for her as much as his dragon does. And carrying his child brings her closer to him but everything is still not sunshine and roses. I can't wait to read the rest of the story to see what happens. I haven't been able to put this story down.

Abandoned and humiliated, Melanie tries her best to maintain her composure as Bram explains the reason for Tristan leaving--something called a “mate claim frenzy”. In other words, the next time Tristan comes face to face with her, his inner dragon will take control and claim her for his own. Both Bram and Samira try to convince her to accept his attentions earlier than her contract specifies or risk putting not only herself, but also the members of their clan in danger.

Tristan stays away from Melanie as long as possible, but to prevent his dragon from completely taking over, he returns to Stonefire’s lands the afternoon after the First Kiss ceremony. When he shows up naked on Melanie’s doorstep, his human-half maintains control long enough to garner her consent.

Now it’s only a matter of time before Melanie conceives and fulfills her contract. But once she does, will Tristan overcome his hatred of humans and stay with her, or will he push her away?

In exchange for a vial of dragon’s blood to save her brother’s life, Melanie Hall offers herself up as a sacrifice to one of the British dragon-shifter clans. Being a sacrifice means signing a contract to live with the dragon-shifters for six months to try to conceive a child. Her assigned dragonman, however, is anything but easy. He’s tall, broody, and alpha to the core. There’s only one problem—he hates humans.

Due to human dragon hunters killing his mother, Tristan MacLeod despises humans. Unfortunately, his clan is in desperate need of offspring to repopulate their numbers and it’s his turn to service a human female. Despite his plans to have sex with her and walk away, his inner dragon has other ideas. The curvy human female tempts his inner beast like no other.

I was drawn in from the start of this story. Melanie is a woman who would do anything for her family. Tristan is a shape shifting dragon who would do anything for the clan. Melanie is head strong, stubborn, feisty full figured woman who gives him a run for his money. His dragon is determined to have her but will his human side agree? You will not be disappointed but are you brave enough to continue to read the other parts of this erotic tale?

For Everything A Season Tiffanys Review

Title:For Everything A Season

Not all the witch trials took place in Salem. And there are people in nearby Rachael Crossing who believe the abandoned old house in their midst has roots going back to those awful times.

Determined not to be spooked by vague rumors, Deborah Colby leases that house for the summer and when she meets Ethan Burke, she's certain she's made the right decision - certain her whole life has been leading her there to him.

I started writing stories as soon as I learned how to put letters together to form words. From that day forward, writing has been a part of my life whether it was my first attempt at a novel in seventh grade or the little plays I wrote for my friends to perform for neighbors and family. After college, when I was busy teaching French and Spanish to high school students, I was also writing poetry -- often in French.

After several years, I left teaching to be a full time mom, and when my two children started school, I went back to writing. To my delight I found that the muse was still there, still waiting patiently for me to come around. My first novel, Ghostfire, was published at that time. It went on to be condensed in Redbook magazine (the first paperback original the magazine had ever condensed.) Then came The God Children and The Portal. Redbook also published my first short story, which was subsequently sold to several foreign magazines. With two great kids, a golden retriever and a loving, supportive husband (whom I'd met at the beach when I was fourteen -- but that's a story for another day), I felt like I was exactly where I was meant to be in my life. But fate had another plan for me, and it went by the name of "breast cancer."

Looking back, I realize how fortunate I was that the cancer was discovered at such an early stage, but at the time it was all very overwhelming. Once I was back on my feet, I wanted to help other women who were newly diagnosed, worried and afraid. I became a Reach to Recovery volunteer for the American Cancer Society and went on to run the program for Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island. A number of years later, with the help of my surgical oncologist and two other volunteers, I started Lean On Me, a nonprofit organization that provides peer support and information to breast cancer patients. When Lean On Me celebrated its tenth anniversary it no longer required as much of my time, and I once again found myself free to pursue my first love -- writing.

The description drew me in and I was hooked from the first page. Tales of witches, Salem history, a prophecy what more could a reader ask for?

Debra goes to Rachaels Crossing as a teacher and there is only one place left to stay in the small community town , a haunted house. But Debra doesn't believe in such things.

Ethan a man who comes and goes as mysteriously as he, himself is but he is more connected to Rachaels Crossing than Debra realizes.

I had problems staying connected to the story though once I reached the half way point of the story. It was hard for me to continue reading but once I got pass the snag it picked back up and started going the way I thought.

But Debra and Ethan had plans of their own for how they wanted this story to end. It most certainly doesn't end the way the reader thinks it will.

Night Visit Tiffanys Review

Title: Night Visit

Rating:3***Stars

Book Description:“Night Visit” is a brief, haunting tale with a uniquely other-world perspective. Set against the backdrop of an isolated house in the lonely woods, it is an eerie reminder that things are not always what they seem in the world of the living.

My Review:For flash fiction this is a good story. It kept me reading. I wanted to know more though and wish the writer would finish it. It most definitely had a spooky feel to it.

The Shadows Of Stormclyffe Hall * Tiffanys Review

Title: The Shadows of Stormclyffe Hall

BLURB

To defeat a dark evil, they must face his family’s past…
Bastian Carlisle, the Earl of Weymouth, doesn’t believe in ghosts. Even though tragedy and mysterious hauntings have driven his family away from his ancestral home, Stormclyffe Hall, he is determined to restore the castle to its former glory. His plans are disrupted when a stubborn American shows up on his doorstep hoping to pry into his family’s tragic history.
Jane Seyton, an American graduate student, is convinced there’s more to the tragedy of Stormclyffe Hall than history claims. Ever the scholar, she is determined to discover the truth, even if it means putting up with the arrogant, yet sexy, Bastian.
Although Bastian wants nothing to do with the pushy American, it soon becomes clear that something evil is in the house—and that something is targeting both Jane and Bastian. The two must join forces to purge the ghosts of Stormclyffe Hall once and for all—even as they try to fight a physical attraction between them that grows more and more impossible to deny.

I was sucked into this dark, brooding, mysterious love affair into another world and time within moments of opening the first page of this book.

Bastian Carlisle, the Earl of Weymouth, is the last of his line. His family has been cursed by an ancient evil that seeks to destroy all who would call the grounds of Stormclyffe Hall.

Jane Seyton is a woman on a mission to finish her dissertation but once she steps foot on Stormclyffe grounds she finds herself part of something much more dangerous both to her soul and her heart.

Can Bastian and Jane break the curse and live? I was riveted to this Gothic romance from the start. If you are looking for dark, dangerous, mysterious, with a bit of magic thrown in then dive in the pages of both the past and present of Lauren Smith's book. You won't be disappointed. I look forward to reading more of her stories in the future.
